Mr. Joe Sanders Chandler Jr.'s Obituary
Joe Sanders Chandler Jr., age 71, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, surrounded by his family, which loved and cared for him in every way.
Survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Chandler; daughters, Teresa Chandler, Melissa (Daniel) Young , Bridget Thomas; sisters, Denise McNutt (Wayne) and Zonda Arthur (Phil); grandchildren, Megan Chandler, Brittany Thomas, Jacob Heinrich, Adam Heinrich, and Sarah Young.
Joe retired from the Adventist Health System with over 40 years of service. He was a member of Ridgetop Seventh- Day Adventist Church, where he served the Lord in many tireless capacities.
As a faithful follower of Christ, he helped support several important church programs and helped the church grow. Joe put forth great effort into supporting his fellow church members and family to have a close relationship with God. All who had the pleasure to meet him, would say, that their lives were improved through his smile and actions. He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
Visitation for Joe will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, Tennessee, 37216 on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 1 PM until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted. Final placement of his ashes will be private.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Philip Arthur, Bruce Caldwell, Kevin McNutt, Brandon Watson, Nick Watson, Adam Vanderboss.
Honorary Pallbearers will be, Pam Schultz, Brenda Pace, Brent Snyder, Lisa Boyd, Danna Smith, Brandy Cagle, Tracy Dietschweiler.
