Carolyn/Steve/Debbie - Please know I am sad to hear about Joe's passing. He was my hero growing up because of his deep bass voice, his boyish good looks, his ability to knock a softball a country mile and the way he always carried himself. He was probably my favorite Sunday School teacher and as a 12 year old he made a very strong and positive impression on me. Later on getting to sit by him in choir and hear his smooth voice lead the bass group was very special. I have nothing but great memories of Joe and he is leaving behind a great, but sad I know, family to carry on until you guys all get to be together again. I grieve with you, but thankful for the hope he shared with me as a young man that we are headed for a great reunion someday. I am a better man for time that I got to spend with him. I will be praying for you guys. - Greg Smith
