Mr. Joe C. Taylor's Obituary
Joe C. Taylor Sr., age 84, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, November 03, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford Taylor and Myra Donegan; wife, Faye Nicks Taylor; two brothers, William B. Taylor, Thomas B. Taylor, and his granddaughter, Leslie Armstrong. He is survived by two daughters, Dawn Knox, Kelley (Keary) Gilbert; two sons, Joe C. (Jackie) Taylor Jr., Kevin (Melissa) Taylor; grandchildren, Christina (Eric) Kellner, Whitney Knox, Madison Taylor, Allison Taylor, Christopher Ashby, Kelsey (Jerold) Burton, Kyle Gilbert and Nicki (Chancey) Seay; great-grandchildren, Makayla Armstrong, Mason Armstrong, Hannah Jolly, Levi Jolly and Emma Kellner.
Joe enjoyed golf, spending time with friends and Titans football. Joe retired from Odom’s Tennessee Pride Sausage after 36 years of service. After his retirement, he enjoyed running his own business with promotional items. Joe was a family man and his faith was very important to him. He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
Visitation for Joe will be held on Monday, November 09, 2020 at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216 from 9 AM until Noon, at which time a Graveside Service will be conducted from the grounds of Spring Hill Cemetery for immediate family. In lieu of customary floral tributes, the family requests donations be made in Joe’s memory to Alive Hospice Nashville (alivehospice.org/donatenow).
