Ms. Johanna Lynn Parker's Obituary
Ms. Johanna Lynn Parker, age 66 of Southside, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. She was born on December 29, 1955 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late O.D. and Lera Fowler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Parker and brother James “Bubba” Fowler. She is survived by her sons Robert Parker Sr. (Patty) and Brandon Parker (Alexis), sisters Jeanette Flemming (Robert), Judy Neely (Larry), Joyce Merickle (Billy), and Libby Fowler, brother O.D. Fowler Jr, grandchildren Robert Jr., Ashton, Kya, Fisher, Jessica, Tabetha, and Nicholas, and great-grandchildren Kyler, Jasper, Alexa, Chloe, Alyssa, Kylie, Aaliyah, and Cara, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Johanna was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a big loud personality, and she was outgoing, energetic, and spunky. Johanna lit up every room she entered, and was always the life of the party. She was very creative and crafty, and she loved playing BINGO and going to the casino.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in Johanna’s memory be made to Spring Hill Funeral Home to contribute toward her funeral expenses. To donate, please call (615) 865-1101 and ask to make a donation.
A Graveside Inurnment Service will be held for Johanna on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 1pm in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service should meet at Spring Hill Funeral Home in the lobby at 12:30pm.
