Mr. John William Allen's Obituary
John William Allen of Old Hickory, TN passed away on January 20, 2018 in Davidson County. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Howard Allen, Lula Angeline Payne Allen; brothers and sisters, Mary Elizabeth Allen Ramsey, George Howard Allen, Jr., Walter Ray Allen, Janice Ruth Allen Hudgens, James Oliver Allen, William Dudley Allen; and his loving companion, Norma Carrell.
He is survived by his son, Chris (Connie) Quinn; Step-daughter, Christi Ruppel; grandchildren, Matthew Walczyk, Ryan Ruppel, Michael (Kayla) Quinn, Stephanie Quinn; great-grandchildren, Avery Quinn, Jaxson Quinn, Alivia Armstreet, Cayson Hoppe; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John was an avid fisherman and hunter. He served in the U.S. Army infantry, U.S. Navy and a former P.O.W. of Vietnam. John was a wonderful man who touched the lives of so many, he will truly be missed.

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 4-8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral ceremony will take place on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 10am with an hour of visitation prior.
