Mr. John Edward Baker's Obituary
John Edward Baker, age 74, of Greenbrier, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee. John was born on January 21, 1945 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Bernard E. and Josephine Crute Baker.
John had served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He had initially been an elementary school teacher out of college, but later became an engineer for Pratt & Whitney. He enjoyed participating in competitive shooting competitions and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Michael Baker.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Marcia Baker; daughter Jennifer (Donald) Poelking; son William (Sandi) Baker; grandchildren Ashlee, Jessica, Mackenzie and Kassidy.
