I knew John for many years and was a great friend that will be sorely missed. John was always willing to use his expertise to help me and others. It seemed that John always had just the right tool in his shirt pocket to fix whatever problem I was having. I'll miss his good humor and inquiring mind.
John was one of kind. He was always there to help an RC flier out with a problem building, repairing or flying a plane. He had a knack for identifying and fixing engine problems. He helped me considerably on how he designed and built the N struts of the Fokker D7 I built and what he did to make his Fokker D7 fly straight. I followed his recommendations and my Plane flew great from the get go. John will be missed, Rest in Peace my friend.
John was a good friend of mine I'm a model airplane RC enthusiast John was the best he was my go-to man and my mentor he will be missed dearly rest in peace John
