John Brady Warner Sr.'s Obituary
WARNER Sr., John Brady; age 85 of Madison, TN passed away June 13, 2010. He was predeceased in death by his parents, James Michael and Mary Brady Warner, and siblings, James Michael Warner, Steve Warner, and Patrick J. Warner. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia DuMont Warner; Children, Sharyn Curbo, Brady (Jan) Warner, Dedie (Tom) Rice, Anthony (Suzie) Warner, Patty (Greg) Self, Billy (Julie) Warner; siblings, Mary Elizabeth Boyd, Ann Vick, and Thomas A. Warner; brother-in-law, Mike (Sue) DuMont; 20 grandchildren, Mickey (Kelli) Curbo, Eric (Laura) Curbo, Jeff Curbo, Carol (Steve) McClure, John Warner, Mary Warner, Jimmy Collier, Leona Rice, Bobby Warner, Katie Warner, Patrick Warner, Jennifer Self, Jeremy Self, Rebecca (Shane) Batchelor, Rachel Self, Matthew Self, Drew Self, Brandon Warner, Courtney Warner, and Chelsea Warner; 8 great grandchildren, Gabriel Curbo, Ethan McClure, Connor McClure, Bryson Self, Summer Self, Trevor Childers, Jamari Grays, and Jayden Grays. Mr. Warner was a graduate of Father Ryan High School and a veteran of WWII where he served in the Navy. He was retired from Burrough's Corporation. He was a founding member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he was an usher for more than 50 years, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and volunteered at Loaves and Fishes. John's hobby was his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. These passions for family lead him to study his genealogy extensively. Mass of The Resurrection will be on Tuesday June 15, 2010 at 10AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Joe McMahon officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, where grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-8PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home, with a Rosary Service to be held at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Loaves and Fishes, or St. Joseph Catholic Church and School.
