John will be missed. I served as Chapter President of the Mid TN CPCU Society Chapter in 2016. It was my great honor and privilege to recognize John at our September meeting for his years of exemplary service to the insurance industry and to our Chapter. John always exemplified the characteristics that we strive for as professionals; commitment, honor and integrity. To Barbara and family, you have our deepest condolences. I will never forget the first time I met John. My last name triggered a memory for him. He had known my grandfather (also in the insurance industry) and they had often worked together. In that moment, a friendship and bond was formed. John became my mentor, friend and when I needed it offered fatherly advice. My heart is so saddened to hear of this, but rests in knowing that this is not goodbye--rather see you later. My thoughts and prayers are with family, friends, and peers. Thank you could never be enough. I don't think you could ever know the impact you not only made on my life but on others as well. I would have left this industry years ago if it wasn't for you. Thank you for always believing in me! John I will miss you terribly but this is just another chapter and soon we will all "flip the page" and will meet again.
