Mr. John Thomas Fyke Sr.'s Obituary
John Thomas Fyke, Sr., age 76 of Hendersonville passed away on June 8, 2013. Mr. Fyke or “Big John” as he was affectionately known as was born on September 23, 1936 in Robertson County to the late Edward Cornell and Bessie Elizabeth Fuqua Fyke. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, June Fyke; sons, John T. Fyke, Jr., Joseph Patrick Fyke (Delee) and Jason Randall Fyke (Amy); grandchildren, Sydney Leigh Fyke, Joseph Patrick Fyke, Jr., Jackson Randall Fyke, Ramsie Miller and Caden Miller. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 12th at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Patrick Breen, celebrant. Entombment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Serenity Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, June 11th from 4-8 P.M. with a Rosary Service at 7 P.M.
