John Gribbins' Obituary
John Gribbins, 44, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. Gribbins and Roxie Gribbins.
He is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Tiffany Gribbins (nee. Mincey), a son, John Patrick Gribbins, mother and father-in-law, John Wilder and Tammy Wilder, a brother, Larry Gribbins, two sister-in-laws, Dottie Gribbins and Brittany Mincey, a niece, Tiffany Judkins (Gary), a nephew, Brian Gribbins and a host of extended relatives and friends.
John had a love of shoes. He was known by the sneaker community as one of the most famous big feet shoe collectors with well over three hundred pairs. He loved his animals, Bear and Boots. He worked for Southern Hobby Distribution for over ten years. John is best known for his humor, his style, his swagger, his love for music, but most of all his big heart.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to gather and share stories of John on Friday, October 6th from four o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 7th at twelve noon. There will be two hours of visiting prior to the service. Immediately following the funeral, the rite of committal will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Brother Ott Denney.
