Mr. John Allen Hazlett, Jr.'s Obituary
John Allen Hazlett, Jr., age 84, passed away on June 5, 2014. Mr. Hazlett was born on April 17, 1930, to the late John and Eula Hazlett. Mr. Hazlett was a Staff Sergeant for the United States Air Force, and was immensely loyal to both flag and country. He entered the military before the age of seventeen. John was a military man who will be remembered for his strong work ethic and attention to detail.
John is survived by his loving wife of 61 ½ years, Kathryn; son, David Alan Hazlett; daughter, Donna (John) Dollman; brother, Roy Hazlett; sister, Mary Jo Hazlett; grandchildren, Sara Mikkelsen, Betina Thompson, and Ahren Rae-Will; and great-grandchildren, Lydia, Khloe, Peter, Addison, and Bentley.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, June 8, 2014, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Pastor Andy Ingram will lead a Celebration of Life Service to honor John Allen Hazlett, Jr. on Monday, June 9, 2014, at 10:00am, from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 10:00am at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, in Pegram.
