Mr. John Hensley Jones' Obituary
John Hensley Jones, age 91, of Goodlettsville, Tn, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Lillie Jones; wife of 70 years, June Marie Jones; one son, Kenneth Jones; three brothers; two sisters. He is survived by two sons, John Jones (Marlene), Michael Steven; two daughters, Denise Maynard, Deborah Steele (George); two sisters, Betty Willis (Cleo), Anna Willis (Leo); eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. John enjoyed fishing, hunting, and drag racing. He was considered a family man and never met a stranger and had a great sense of humor. John will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
Visitation for John will be held on Thursday, October 17 2019 at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110, Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216 from 11 AM until 9 PM and again on Friday, October 18, 2019 from Noon until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville landmark since 1785 “Where Nashville Comes to Remember”
