John Albert Tidwell Sr. passed away on August 5, 2021, in Davidson County. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Tidwell; parents, John Dallas Tidwell and Mary Alice Tidwell; daughters, Dawn Tidwell, Donna Tidwell; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary Ann Bennett, April (Tim) Donegan; son, John Albert Tidwell Jr.; 3 sisters; grandchildren, Jonathan Tidwell, LeAnn Rivera, Megan Tidwell, Lindsey Tidwell, Daniel Weaver; and 12 great-grandchildren.
John loved his westerns, especially if they included John Wayne. He was full of life and made friends with anyone he met. John was a family man who valued his time with family. He was hardworking and enjoyed his job driving trucks. John touched the lives of so many and will truly be missed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Spring Hill Funeral Home from 4pm-8pm. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 1:45pm with an hour of visitation prior. Burial to follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
