John “Buzzy” Vernon, 73
John “Buzzy” Vernon left us to be with the Lord on April 20th, 2015 following a Heart Attack and Massive Stroke. He had his friends and family by his side.
Buzzy was born on November 13th, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee to Norman “Tuffy” Vernon and Sue Vernon. He still called Nashville home.
He is survived by his son and his spouse, Dale and Amanda Vernon and his daughter and her spouse, Debbie and John Scannapieco and 7 grandchildren, Jonathan, McKenzie, Nathan, Gus, Mira, Jonah and Luc. He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Sue and a brother and sister, Sonny and Maryanne.
Buzzy spent most of his free time with his friends who he loved dearly. He also loved fishing, playing golf and was always known to be a great pool player.
A Memorial Social Gathering will be held to honor Buzzy from 6-8 pm on Thursday April 23, 2015 at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Madison.
