Mr. John Elmer "Jack" Willis' Obituary
John Elmer “Jack” Willis, age 89 of Brentwood, TN passed away peacefully on November 2, 2013. Mr. Willis was born in Nashville, TN on April 17, 1924 to Simon Charles, Sr. and Dot Culley Willis. He was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church and retired from the Burroughs Corporation after 40 years of service with the company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Sarah; son, Johnny Willis; daughter, Cynthia (Robert) Lucianno; and granddaughter, Rachel Lucianno. He is survived by his grandchildren, David Lucianno, Rebecca (Spencer) Phillippi and John (Emily) Lucianno; great grandchildren, Andrew, Dominica and Trinity.
A celebration of Mr. Willis’ life will be conducted at 11 AM, Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service, Tuesday at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
