John "Johnny" Anderson Wright's Obituary
John “Johnny” Anderson Wright, 73, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Dillard Wright, and his grandparents, Carlene and Walter Lawhorn.
Johnny is survived by his sister, Donna Wright Morgan and her husband Randy Morgan, three nephews, John “Ty” Merchant (Sheila), Joey Morgan (Ashley) and Randy Morgan (Lindsay), a niece, Katie Scoggins (Brent), sisters-in-law, Sheila Morgan and Carolyn Pigue, and brothers-in-law, Bobby Morgan (Cathy), Ronald Morgan and Brian Merchant (Kitty).
Johnny proudly served in the US Navy for four years. His love of music knew no bounds as he loved to play keyboard with all sorts of different types of music. Mostly he played Southern Rock. Johnny was a University of Tennessee Super Fan. Anyone who knew him would know this to be true.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to a time of sharing on Sunday, December 10th, 2023, from four o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, December 11th, 2023, at three o’clock in the afternoon also at the funeral home. The family will visit one hour prior to the service.
