Mrs. Jolene Tidwell's Obituary
Jolene Frances (Donnelly) Tidwell, age 88, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at The White House Health Care Center in White House, TN. Jolene was born on December 21, 1927 in Nashville, TN to J.F. and Cecil (White) Donnelly.
Prior to Mrs. Tidwell’s retirement, she worked for Bellsouth in a clerical position. She enjoyed traveling inside the United States, reading, and she studied her Bible on a daily basis. She was devoted to her faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Tidwell; brother, Bud Donnelly; sister, Betty Davis; and her granddaughter, Stacey Tidwell.
Mrs. Tidwell is survived by three sons, Mike and wife, Terrie Tidwell, Steve and wife, Roberta Tidwell, Brad and wife, Mimi Tidwell; five grandchildren, Courtney and husband, Shannon, Ashley and husband, Jermaine, Brian, Lena, and Travis; one great-grandchild, Sydni. Jolene is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 4-8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 1 PM until the time of the service at 2:00 PM with Paul Hunter and Mike Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at The Hearth at Hendersonville and White House Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care for Jolene during her time spent there.
