Mr. Joseph Dixon's Obituary
Joeseph “Twitch” Dixon, age 54 of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019. He was born in Covington, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his brother Michael Dixon and his grandparents Bud and Clelly Dixon, and Christina and Ralph Kidd. He is survived by his parents Billy Dixon, Sherri Dixon, and Linda Beal; his children Joe “Little Joe” Palmer, Gina Parnell, and Crystal Ford; his siblings Terry Dixon (Lynn), Tim Dixon (Tracy), and Nicole Johnson (Tim); his grandmother Goldie Underwood; his aunts and uncles Ralph Kidd, Ann and Jackie Rigsby, Buddy Dixon, and Darlene Smarr. He is also survived by six precious grandchildren, and eleven nieces and nephews. Joe loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.
Joe was a very loving person, with a giving heart. He would give a person in need the shirt off his own back in a heartbeat. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Claxton County Fire Department as well as a truck driver for Southern Recycling – a career that he particularly enjoyed.
