Major Joseph S. Lakich's Obituary
Ret. Major Joseph S. Lakich of Franklin, TN passed away February 4, 2017 in Williamson County. He is preceded in death his loving wife, Jewell Germaine Lakich; parents, Milan and Hermina Lakich; daughter, Susan Germaine Lakich Giffe; son, Steven Michael Lakich.
He is survived by daughter, Susan G. Jones (David L. Jones); son, Keith Bagsby; sister, Olga Lakich; grandchildren, Zachary Pierce Jones, Dutch Alexander Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joseph was a retired Army Major of 23 years. He dedicated his life to serving our country. Joseph was a handyman around the house and loved to tinker. He enjoyed the simple things such as music and the Waltz. Joseph adored his furry, four-legged companion, Bijan. He was a man of many talents and touched the lives of many. He will truly be missed.
A celebration of life Graveside service with full military honors will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery in Nashville, TN. Celebration will take place on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 1:00PM.
