Mr. Joseph David Lawrence's Obituary
Joseph David Lawrence of Nashville, TN passed away July 20, 2019 in Montgomery county. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman C. Lawrence, Elizabeth Abernathy Lawrence; and sister, Julia Halterman.
He is survived by his brothers, Jack (Beverly) Lawrence, James Clayton (Mary) Lawrence, and Jonathan (Sherri) Lawrence. Brother-in-law, Tim Halterman. Numerous nieces and nephews, and his loving, three-legged companion, Zeus.
Joseph was full of life and enjoyed being around people. He enjoyed classic cars and guns of all kinds. Joseph worked as a ground’s keeper for 17 years at Shawnee Community College in Metropolis, IL. He enjoyed being outside and mowing the common areas. So much so, that he adopted the nickname, “Mojo.” Joseph had an impact on many people and will truly be missed.
