Mr. Joseph Richard "Dicky" Moran, Jr.'s Obituary
Joseph Richard “Dicky” Moran, Jr., age 81, passed away on October 1, 2015. He was born on September 5, 1934 to the late Dr. and Mrs. J.R. Moran, Sr. Dicky was a long-time resident of Hendersonville, and had been living in North Redington Beach, Florida. He was a 1951 graduate of East High School in Nashville.
In addition to his parents, Dicky was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Nancy Moran.
He is survived by his sister, Mercedes Jacbos; son, J.R. “Dicky” Moran, III (Gina Fitzgerald); daughters, Julie Valentine (Greg) and Toni Yandrisovitz (Brian); six grandchildren, and seven-and-a-half great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 4pm until 9pm. Additional visitation will be Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 10am until 11am. A Life Celebration Funeral service to honor Dicky will take place immediately following Wednesday’s visitation, at 11am. All services will take place at Hendersonville First Baptist Church.
