Joseph Eugene Warner's Obituary
Joseph Eugene Warner, 61, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2026, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center. He was born on March 30, 1964, in Nashville to Imogene McMahon Warner and the late Stephen Warner, Sr.
Joseph was a proud graduate of Stratford High School, Class of 1982. After high school, he entered the workforce, spending time cutting grass and later working alongside his cousin at a local restaurant. At some point along the way—though no one can say exactly when—Joseph developed a deep love for automobiles, a passion that remained a constant source of joy throughout his life.
He eventually turned that interest into a career, transporting vehicles for local dealerships and transport companies around Nashville. While he enjoyed the work, it was his personal car collection that brought him the greatest satisfaction.
Joseph was friendly and outgoing, never hesitating to strike up a conversation, especially when it involved cars. At the same time, he valued his privacy and was known for speaking his mind honestly and directly.
He also found peace in life’s simple pleasures, particularly mowing the lawn and tending to yard work—tasks that brought him a sense of calm and contentment.
Joseph is preceded in death by his father, Stephen Warner, Sr., grandparents, Marshall and Ernestine McMahon and James and Mary Warner.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Imogene Warner, brothers, Stephen Warner, Jr., and Timothy Warner, sister, Karen Warner, and a multitude of cousins.
