Ms. Joy Dianne Johnson, age 74 of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020. She was born on April 19, 1946 in Lexington, Tennessee to the late William Hix, Jr. and Marian Joy Arnold Hix. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Irving Johnson, and her brother Donnie Hix. She is survived by her children Melissa Wynne (Tom) and Paul Johnson (Laurie), her brother David Hix (Connie), her grandchildren Ashley Wynne Stellhorn (Matthew), Kenadie Wynne, Andy Johnson, and Corey Johnson, as well as her great-grandsons Drew and Carson Johnson and a host of friends, all of whom she loved and cherished dearly.
Dianne was a graduate of Issac Litton High School and was a member of the Colorguard for the Issac Litton “Marching 100.” This was something in which she took great pride, and during her time with the Marching 100, she even had the opportunity to march in the Rose Bowl Parade. Dianne loved dearly the friends she made during that time and maintained those friendships her whole life. She was strong, fearless, and had an unmatched work ethic, always setting the bar high among her work peers. Most of all, Dianne was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to whom family was most important above all else. She loved her family fiercely and they loved her. Her memory will live on in their hearts forever, and she will be missed greatly.
A Memorial Service for Ms. Johnson will be held on Friday, December 11 at 5pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
