Joy Janell Luthy's Obituary
Joy Janell Luthy, 64, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, sadly passed away May 18, 2024. She was born June 17, 1959, in Lebanon, Missouri, to the late James Luthy, Sr. and Lanora Luthy Taylor.
Joy is survived by her brother, James (Ruth) Luthy, Jr.; sisters Marcia (John) Ray, and Marla Breedlove; 7 nieces and nephews; and 10 great nieces and nephews.
Joy was a woman of many hobbies that included painting, woodworking, and reading. She was even a part of two book clubs. She liked playing cards and dominos. She had a special love for Tigger, the Tennessee Titans, and her country. Her collection of eagles is something you have never seen before. She worked with the I.R.S. for 30 years. She was baptized at a young age at White Oak Pond Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lebanon, Missouri. She has been a member of the City Road Methodist Church for 20 years. Her love for the Lord was an important part of her life. Above all she had a love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

The visitation will be May 22, 2024, from 4 o'clock in the evening until time of service at 6 o'clock in the evening at City Road Chapel United Methodist Church, 701 Gallatin Pike S, Madison, TN 37115.
