Mrs. Joyce Dean Byrd's Obituary
Joyce Dean Byrd, age 80 of Goodlettsville passed away December 28, 2013. Mrs. Byrd was born on September 15, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Garvin and Evie Paris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Jim” Byrd. She is survived by her children, Jimmy Byrd, Diane Frazier, Darrell Byrd and Lisa Knight; grandchildren, Nathan E. Lester, Breanne Cole, Caleb Byrd, Jennifer Neal, Zack Byrd, Chelsea Byrd and Jessi Knight; great-grandchildren, Shane Byrd, Ruby Cole, Chloe Neal, Roman Neal, Nadia Neal and Jonah Neal; and brothers, Wayne Paris and Bud Paris. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 31st at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, December 30th from 4-8 P.M. and on Tuesday from 12 P.M. until service time.
