Joyce Ellen Geshwiler
Born June 29, 1938 in Lansing Michigan to Roy A. Johnson and Ellen Reich Johnson, died July 28, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center, Columbia, TN.. Survived by husband William S. Geshwiler, daughter Ellen Starr of Walland TN, son Andrew M. Geshwiler of Franklin, TN, daughter Elizabeth A. Gault of Ath, Belgium, two grandsons Jordan and Noah Gault, and granddaughter Faith Geshwiler.
Joyce was a graduate of Flint Community College, Flint, Michigan. She was a licensed American Kennel Club conformation judge, and with husband judged dog shows all across the United States. She was a life member of the Nashville Kennel Club, secretary treasurer of the Tennessee Valley English Cocker Spaniel Fanciers, vice president of Cumberland Valley Hound Association, and a member of the Nashville Dog Training Club. In her breeding and show program, she earned 14 conformation championship certificates and numerous titles in agility work.
Joyce also was a member of the Brigadier General Richard Winn Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Genealogical Society of Maury County Tennessee.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 31, 2018 – 11:00 AM at Congregation Micah, 2001 Old Hickory Blvd., Brentwood, TN with Rabbi Mark Schiftan officiating. Burial to follow at the Congregation Micah cemetery.
