Joyce F. Gober's Obituary
Joyce F. Gober, 83, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie and William T. Boyce, five siblings, Margaret Heath, Jacob Boyce, Gene Boyce, Mary Ann Warpool, and Celeste Vanasse.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Thomas J. Gober, Jr., a daughter, Valerie Elder (Chris), two granddaughters, Chelsea Gray (Caleb), Taylor Eddie (Matt), two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Sawyer Eddie, a sister, Gwen Overstreet, and several other extended family members.
Joycie, as her closest friends called her, was a member of the Brush Hill CP Church. She loved to garden, fish, and win at slot machines. She enjoyed spending time with her family and fur babies.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 20th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville, Tennessee. The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 21st at 12:00 pm with visiting two hours prior to the service at Brush Hill CP Church, 3705 Brush Hill Road in Nashville, Tennessee. The committal will immediately follow, via an escorted cortege, at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville, Tennessee
