Mrs. Joyce Renee Haddock's Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Renee Bryant Haddock, age 48 of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. She was born on June 21, 1974 in Nashville, Tennessee to James and Debra Bryant. She was preceded in death by her son Johnathan Wayne Haddock. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Christopher Wayne Haddock, sons Christopher James Landrum (Jason) and Austin Blake Haddock, sister Susan Gail Bryant (Melissa Ketelsen), daughter-in-law Kaylee Smith, and grandson Dakota Haddock.
Joyce was a natural born caregiver. Although she made a career with Metro Nashville Public Schools, her true passion in life was caring for her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to her children, but she was also a mother to anyone in her life who might need one, even if for just a moment. She was a wonderful friend, and would go out of her way to love on and care for her friends. One of Joyce’s greatest joys in life however, was being a grandmother to her grandson Dakota, or “Kota Bear” as she liked to call him. Her legacy of caring, nurturing, and love will live on through those who loved her and whom she loved in return. Joyce will be missed dearly.
A visitation will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 4pm-8pm. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home the following day at 2pm, with Joyce’s family receiving visitors 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery has been entrusted with the final care of Joyce. 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, Tennessee 37216. (615) 865-1101. “Where Nashville Comes to Remember.”
