Ms. Joyce Faye Hamilton's Obituary
Due to CDC recommendations we require masks be worn at all times in and outside of the building. We require temperature checks as individuals enter the building and no food will be allowed. We are limited to 125 people in the building at a time.
Joyce Faye Hamilton, age 71 of Madison, TN passed away on October 5, 2020. She was surrounded by her two daughters, her sister, and 8 of her grandchildren.
Joyce was an all-around family woman, she had an infectious smile, a heart of gold, and the sweetest voice you would ever hear. She worked miracles in the kitchen. She could make something amazing out of nothing and have enough to feed an army. Her motto was to always have more then enough and never have too little. She made sure everybody was always taken care of. Her door was always open to any and everyone. She loved celebrating holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. She enjoyed birthday celebrations and hosting all family gatherings. She was a hard worker and a dedicated wife, devoted mother, and loving grandmother in the world. She was the queen of Canasta and wasn’t afraid to tell you she was the QUEEN! She loved taking pictures and making memories. Joyce sacrificed her life to take care of others.
Joyce is survived by her son, Larry (Melissa) Hamilton; daughters, Sara (Randall) Buford, Sherry (Cornelius) Hamilton; 17 grandchildren, Jamie Cathy, Marsha Faye, Samantha, Chrissy, Chad, Cole, Krystal, David, Amy, Cindy, Loresha, Tyreese, Taneshia, Chellsy, Tywan, TyCorey and 39 Great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be DeJuane Teasley, Ricky Moon, Glenn, Ferrell, Craig Donnell, Randal Bufford and Jerry Reese.
Joyce was the middle child of 12 kids. She raised 4 children while always keeping a smile on her face like nothing was ever wrong. She was always there to help no matter what life brought. She was always there to lift people up when they needed it most.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 4pm to 8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 2pm with an hour visitation prior. 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216. 615-865-1101.
