Mrs. Joyce Maxine Jackson's Obituary
Joyce Maxine Jackson, age 86, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leeland and Georgia Moore; husband, Glenn Jackson; one son, Alan Lane Jackson. She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Lawrence, Renee Hastings (Eric), Tracey Hale (Richard); three sisters, Polly Nolan, Linda Maynard (Terry), Willa McGowan (Gary); three grandchildren, Chelsea Woods, Chaz Fitzgerald, Taylor Hastings; several great-grandchildren and extended family members. Joyce enjoyed gardening, flowers, and going out to eat at “the fancy places”. She also sang country music in her earlier years as Joyce Moore and was recorded with RCA Victor. Joyce loved spending time with family and going to church, her faith was very important to her.
Graveside services for Joyce will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. Friends and family are requested to meet at the funeral home to go in procession to the graveside service.
