Mrs. Joyce Smith's Obituary
Joyce Newland Smith, age 71 of Bethpage passed away June 11, 2014 at NHC Healthcare in Hendersonville. Mrs. Smith was born on May 7, 1943 in Nashville to the late Cornelius Lee and Johnnie Lee Underwood Newland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Smith. Joyce will be remembered as a very giving person who loved to help people. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Jordan and Mildred Hall; brothers, Lee (Michelle) Newland; and nephews, Eric (Kim) Jordan and Colton Reynolds. A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, June 14th at 12:00 P.M. in the Sunnymeade Section of Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, June 13th from 3-8 P.M. at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
