Mrs. Joyce Marie Vicari's Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Marie Schurr Vicari, 66, formerly of California and Hawaii, died Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at her residence in Nashville.
The Grass Valley, California native was the daughter of the late Elwood Christian and Lois Mildred Olson Schurr. She was affiliated with Servco Pacific in Hawaii for many years as a distribution manager. She enjoyed cooking, hula dancing, the Dallas Cowboys all types of music and her pets. Her passion in life was spending quality time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Vicari had strong faith and loved the Lord with all her heart mind and soul. She had been attending the Lebanon Road Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Seward Vicari; a son, David (Jan) Pippin; four sisters, Jessie Aughenbaugh, Leota (George) Peters, Nina (Ken) Sumwalt and Debra (Joe) Aronis; two brothers, Paul Ramm and Robert (Cathy) Lecheler; nine grandchildren, Brandon Pippin, Michael Pippin, Caitlyn Pippin, Heather (Adel) Mohammed, Tryten Vicari, Troy Vicari, Jr., Ryan Vicari, Jr., Jayden Vicari, and Tory Vicari; a great grandchild, Abrahim Mohammed; two step sons, Troy (Marge) Vicari and Ryan (Maireng) Vicari; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, John Christian Pippin; three brothers, Elmer Christian Schurr, David Ramm and Romanus Lecheler.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00PM at the Lebanon Church of Christ Fellowship Hall with Jim Dean officiating. Inurnment will be in Hawaii at a later time. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, Nashville, 615-865-1101.
