Mrs. Joylyn Ann Akers' Obituary
Joylyn Ann Akers, age 79, of Madison, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015. She was born August 27, 1936 in Yakima, Washington. Joylyn enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and knitting. She enjoyed listening to Neil Diamond, Patsy Cline, ABBA and John Tesh. Most of all she enjoyed watching and recording old black and white movies with a bowl of popcorn.
Joylyn is survived by her husband, Eugene Akers; children, Marcus Bacon, Michael Bacon (Ruthie), Scott Akers, Kirk Akers (Debra) and Sherri Holland (Kevin); grandchildren, Brandon Moss (Nicole), Autumn Akers, Timothy Akers (Kim), Justin Holland (Katie), Christoper Holland, Kelli Holland and Sarah Akers; and great-grandchildren, Elijah Akers, Niklaus Akers, Jocelyn Holland and Oliver Huber.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 2, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home with a celebration of life funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
