Mrs. Juanita Batson's Obituary
Juanita completed her Life Journey and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 15, 2015, following an extended illness. Born, November 25, 1923, to the late Willie and Lena Binkley of Dickson, TN.
Preceded in death by her dear husband, Charles Burnie Batson; brothers, Donald Binkley, William Binkley, and Robert Binkley; and sister, Aline (Eugene) Roberts.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Susan Cooper Valentine; granddaughter, Mitzi Cooper Hale (Kyle); grandson, Kenneth Wayne Cooper (Deborah); precious great-grandchildren, Victoria and Hannah Hale, and Mia and Matthew Cooper; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Juanita was a former secretary for DuPont Company for 38 years and a member of City Road Chapel United Methodist Church since the age of 24.
The family will receive friends and visitors on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will take place on the same day, at 1:00pm,with Reverend Jay Voorhees officiating.
The family is very grateful to White House Health Care for the support and care given them during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to City Road Chapel United Methodist Church, Madison, TN.
