Ms. Juanita Doretha Black's Obituary
Juanita Doretha Black, age 55, passed away May 18, 2016. Preceded in death by her mother Mary Doris Johnson; father Andrew Fulton; sister Linda Jean Lewis; cousins Joyce Vee McKell and Ricky McKell; uncle Albright Johnson; and brother-in-law Venson Jamison. She is survived by her loving children Corey Latimer, Sr. and Kapra Richardson; sisters Audie Black and Cynthia Marie Jamison; brother Michael Taylor; grandchildren Corey Latimer, Jr., Dylan Latimer, and Ryan Latimer, cousin Joy Williams; niece, Lamekia Black; Aunt, Beverly Johnson; and numerous close family and friends.
Doretha was very active in track and participating on the drill team during high school. She worked at Third National Bank for many years and later joined Dollar General Corporate Headquarters. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed Titans football, and traveling.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016, 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216, 615-865-1101, www.springhillfh.com.
