Juanita Evilcizer's Obituary
Juanita Evilcizer, age 97, died peacefully at her home in Nashville, Tennessee on June 7, 2024.
Born on March 16, 1927, in Clarksville, Tennessee, Juanita was a lifelong Tennessean. In 1950, Juanita married Charles Evilcizer and together they raised their two children Michael and Karen. In her early years, Juanita enjoyed sewing, participating in home demonstration club, and singing in the Dickerson Road Baptist Church Choir.
Juanita is remembered by her family and friends as an incredible cook, avid gardener, and sports enthusiast. She loved traveling to sporting events with her family and supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren in their many endeavors. Juanita held a talent for assembling floral arrangements and always boasted the most beautiful garden every spring. Those who knew her were blessed by her kindness and a witness to her exemplary strength.
Juanita is preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Evilcizer, her brother Charles Street, and her grandson Brett Evilcizer. She lovingly leaves behind her two children Michael (Donna) Evilcizer and Karen (Michael) Rippetoe; her five grandchildren Micah (Amanda) Evilcizer, Tim (Aimee) Evilcizer, Cory (Erica) Eldridge, Nathan Eldridge, and Kathryn Rippetoe; as well as seven great-grandchildren and special friends Cheryl Wesson, Jackie Sullivan, and Lisa Brown.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from five o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at ten o'clock in the morning with an hour of visiting prior to the service. The funeral will be officiated by Mike Evilcizer. The committal service will immediately follow.
At the request of the family, in lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions can be made in Juanita's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
