Mrs. Juanita Mitchell's Obituary
Juanita (Stark) Mitchell, age 97, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 at The Clayborn and Hughes Health Center in Franklin, TN. Juanita was born on January 30, 1919 in Nashville, Tennessee to Clarence Alexander and Russell Tennessee (Douglas) Stark.
She enjoyed gardening and used her gardening skills often on designing floral arrangements. Juanita served as a volunteer for the red cross and thoroughly enjoyed her time serving others. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of the Inglewood Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred E. Mitchell; sisters, Elva, Floy, Mildred, Mary Frances, and Mattie Ruth.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her daughter, Diane and husband, Richard Miller, numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.
