Ms. Juanita Johns Young's Obituary
Juanita Johns Young, Age 90, of East Nashville, TN died on October 2, 2020. She was born on April 30, 1930 in Nashville, TN the daughter of George and Barbara (Marcum) Johns both of whom preceded her in death
Juanita loved nothing more than spending time with her family and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed going out to eat to her favorite restaurants Cracker Barrel and Longhorn. Juanita was an excellent story teller but got quite mischievous when she told them. Juanita was a very giving woman, if there was anyone who needed anything she would step up and make sure that it happened. She also loved to cook and in her family she was famous for her dressing.
She is survived by her daughters Randalyn Dorsett-Bruce (Micah), Dianne Binkley (Mike), Suzanne Wehner (John); grandchildren Keith Binkley (Shay), Wendy Mell (Bob), Lauren Cecil (Brad), Thomas Randall Dorsett (Erin), Sam Wehner, Isaac Wehner; great-grandchildren, Bryce Biggerstaff, Lucy Binkley, Ava Binkley, Bonnie Binkley, Stella Cecil, Cora Cecil, Lillian Dorsett, Madalynn Dorsett and Ben Blankenship. She is also survived by her sisters Patricia Ann Jolley and Barbara Faye Reed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Randall Young and her daughter Tracy Leanne Young.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery at 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216 from 10AM-12PM. Funeral service will be held immediately following at 12 PM in the Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will take in the Historic Spring Hill Mausoleum.
