Judith Lynn Hill's Obituary
Judith Lynn Hill, age 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in Nashville. She was born on August 18, 1952 to the late Bill and Lucille Stark Hall. She is preceded in death by sister - Charlotte Martin and brother - Eugene Hall. She is survived by her husband Jim Hill - son Nathan Wallach (Jen) of Murfreesboro, TN - brother Vann Hall of Castalian Springs, TN - step-son Chris Hill of Smyrna, TN - grandson Sebastian Hill and granddog Stanley.
Raised in Sumner County, Judy was an official member of the First Families of Tennessee as a direct descendant of the William Bruce Family who settled in Tennessee prior to statehood, June 1, 1796. She was always proud of her heritage and the history behind the Hall family. She retired from the trade show management industry after over 20 years as an Account Executive where she carved her own path and became a well respected name in her industry. Judy lived many lives in her 71 years, she loved to laugh, tell stories and travel to Gatlinburg, TN with her husband of 25 years. Judy said the last 30 years have been her happiest with her best friend and husband, Jim. She looked out for everyone else first and always wanted the best for others before herself. She will be missed beyond measure and her memory will be enshrined in the book life forever.
Visitation will be Monday, September 25th from 4 pm until 8 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A graveside service will be conducted in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery on Tuesday at 11 am. Anyone wishing to attend the graveside service is asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 am.
