Judy Ann Childress' Obituary
Judy Ann Childress, 80, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Born September 29, 1941, in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Beasley and Margurite Kramer Beasley.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly. She was a member of Third Baptist Church in Nashville, where she loved her church family and Sunday School class. She retired after 45 years of service at Hody’s Florist as a floral designer. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter, Deborah, going on trips to places like Hawaii, Chicago, and Las Vegas. Her family will remember her as always having an immaculate home and also for her love of Starbucks.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah Whitley and her husband, Alex; son Michael Childress and his wife, Wendy; and grandson Dylan Childress.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, April 7, from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A graveside service will follow at 10:30 am in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery officiated by Reverend Rosemary Brown.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Judy’s name to Alive Hospice.
