Judy Kay Floyd, 78, longtime resident of Nashville, Tennessee. Passed peacefully on July 16,2026 at alive hospice in Nashville.
Born February 28,1948 in Paris, Arkansas to Lee and Millie Lumpkin, deceased.
She is survived by her loving husband Herman Michael Floyd, daughters Terrace Ellsworth of Sand Springs, OK and Brianna Brown of Phoenix, Arizona; stepson John Michael Floyd (Stefanie); grandchildren Chandler Alexander, Jadyn alexander, and Taylor alexander, Julian Floyd and Ethan Floyd all of Nashville.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Sue Brown of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
She was a devout catholic and member of St. Mary’s Church of the Seven Sorrows in Nashville.
Professionally, she served as Vice President of Omni Equipment & Machinery, a local industrial distributor, since 1999.
She was a brilliant and compassionate woman and wonderful wife who loved her family with all her heart. Her smile would light up a room and a source of delight to her husband. To her life was a great adventure, and she took great pleasure in the simplest things. She thoroughly enjoyed and excelled in gardening and cooking.
She left indelible impressions on all those who knew her. She helped many, many people over the years with all sorts of problems and will be sorely missed by those who knew her.
Visitation will be at spring hill funeral home 5110 Gallatin Pike South in Madison, TN from 2 pm to 5:30 pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, with a rosary beginning at 5:30p.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Madison on Wednesday at 11:00 am.
