Judy Lee Vanags, age 81, of Hermitage, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her husband, John Vanags; one daughter, Susan Bown; one son, Jimmy Vanags; grandchildren, Andrew Bown, Matthew Bown, William, Ian, Mai, Micah Vanags; great-grandchildren, Maddie Leigh Bown, Serenity Vanags.
Judy enjoyed cooking, gardening, crochet work and crafting. Spending time with family was most important to her. She was strong in her faith and was very accepting of others and would help anyone in need. She will be missed by all those who knew her and loved her.
Visitation for Judy will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216, on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at which time a Christian Celebration of Life Service will be conducted followed by a Buddhist Service starting at Noon. An additional service will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 10 AM at the Antioch Temple, 2558 Una Antioch Pike, Antioch, TN, 37013.
