Mrs. Julia Crane's Obituary
Julia Faye Crane, age 94, slipped into eternity on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in Hendersonville, Tennessee. She is now living in the promise of eternal life given to her by placing her faith in Jesus Christ. She is enjoying all that heaven has in store for her and we rejoice in her homegoing.
Faye enjoyed reading in her spare time, she always felt that she could travel around the world through a book. She can also be remembered for giving to others her baked goods, that she enjoyed doing so much. She was lovingly referred to as “Sassy Nannie” by her grandchildren. She was a Christian and was a member of the Baptist faith. She cherished the life that she had been blessed with.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Audie Belle (Regan) Hamilton and her son, Billy Ray Crane, Jr.
Faye is survived by her daughter, Delores Baker (Ray); four grandchildren, Michelle Boner, Leigh Ann Canter (Randy), Sherree Lambright (Steve), Kenneth Crane (Leslie); ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 beginning at 2 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Frank Gill officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 12 noon until the time of service at 2 pm. Entombment will follow the service in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will include Robert Ballard, Kenneth Crane, Austin Crane, Spencer Lambright.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
