Mr. Julian Buford McEwen's Obituary
Julian Buford McEwen, age 85, of Hendersonville passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013. He was the son of the late Sidney Stanley McEwen and Rillie Helen Brady. Mr. McEwen was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Bertie Lee McEwen, and his sister, Dorothy Juanita Perry. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his daughter Sandra Gayle (Jerry) Newman; his son, William Eugene (Carol) McEwen; grandchildren Kenneth Eugene McEwen, Jason Lee McEwen, Shanna Michelle Harrison, and Brian Scott Gray; and great grandchildren, Savanah, Patrick, John , Danielle , Linda, Mandy, Caleb, Elizabeth, and five great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, August 28th from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be conduct on Thursday, August 29th at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of the Spring Hill Funeral Home, the Rev. Mike Trotter officiating; interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include the grandchildren, Shane Harrison, Daryl Perry, Amita Fukui and David Perry. Honorary Pallbearers are Forrest Morgan and Daryl Massa. www.springhillfh.com
