I so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Julie making wonderful food for the Kennedy and Brown Christmas parties! She always made sure to have plenty! And, she was helping me send letters the day I went into labor with my oldest son. Good times! Love to you all. Sincerely, Cindy Chappell

I have so many fun memories with the Grubbs family. I met Laura in school and we became friends. I would go on family vacations with them and Julie was always so much fun. She could say the funniest things.
I will always cherish those memories.
Julie was my godmother, my mother's best and dearest friend, and the first person on earth to change my diaper. I am so sorry for this family's loss, it is great.
Too many great memories to pick one. How we loved eating out at Cross Keys on payday evenings. How she shared her apartment while we waited for mine to be ready. She watched my crazy greyhound when I worked out of town. How she told me about Steve saying she was certain he was the one. And he was. Great memories of young girls sharing good and bad times. Miss you girl.
Julie and I became friends in the eighth grade. She was quick witted, smart, funny, blunt when needed and so good to her friends. I have many wonderful memories of adventures, serious discussions and Friday night dinners. But the memories that comes back to me are of high school breaks and holidays when we would spend the day together. A radio playing music of the day and each with a good book. We would find a comfy spot and just quietly read. We would bread for snacks and to chi chat and then return to our books. Wonderful, warm memories. Miss you girl.
It was always a wonderful time with Julie. Her knowledge and compassion were always mesmerizing to me. I still smile when I think of the story she told of her flying on a airplane with her mother. I will miss her dearly.
