Karen Louise Goodwin's Obituary
Karen L Goodwin (Auntie) of Nashville TN passed away peacefully at Skyline Medical on December 27th, 2023 at 81 years old.
Karen lived her life to the fullest and never backed away from a challenge. She loved her family and Puppy fiercely. Her smile would light up the room at her assisted living facility while her mischievous grin made all around her know a laugh was about to come.
Karen spent her early years in Ashland Oregon working at a battered women’s retreat that helped rehabilitate survivors of abuse. Karen graduated Southern Oregon University with a bachelor in psychology and a bachelor in sociology.
Karen is survived by her nieces Deanne Miller, Karen Buzzard and husband Michael, Kathy Johnson and husband David and children Liz, Violet, and Samantha, Peggy Thurman and husband Joe and children Danny and Elise. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and football buddy David Johnson. She was proceeded in death by her beloved sister Helen Johnson, her parents Tilly and Arthur Goodwin, her loving Puppy, and brother Robert Goodwin.

Services will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery on Tuesday, January 23rd at 12:00pm noon.
Final arrangements for Miss Goodwin are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, "Where Nashville Comes to Remember."
