Ms. Karen Taylor's Obituary
Karen (Spangenberg) Taylor, age 75, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. Karen was born on February 20, 1943 in Nashville, Tennessee to Marshall and Evelyn (Byrn) Spangenberg.
Karen enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. She cherished her family, especially her son, Neil and grandchildren, Savannah and Austin. She loved the Lord and enjoyed going to church where she was a member at Dalewood Baptist Church. She cherished greatly the life that she had been blessed with.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by brothers, Lawrence Spangenberg and Ted Spangenberg; sister, Doris Ringle.
Karen is survived by her son, William Neil Taylor (Amanda); brother, Phillip Spangenberg; sister, Marsi Schairer; grandchildren, Savannah Taylor and Austin Taylor. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with an additional visitation held on Friday, May 18, 2017 from 10 am until the time of service beginning at 11 am at Spring Hill Funeral Home with David Royalty officiating. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Karen's memory.
