Katherine Scott Trew's Obituary
TREW, Katherine Scott, age 79 of Nashville, TN, passed away December 22, 2009. Born in 1930 to the late A.G. and Yola Scott, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Davis Trew Sr.; brother, Allen Scott; sisters Frances and Ethelee. She is survived by her sons, Dave, Glen, Scott, and Frank Trew; sister, Mary Scott; grandchildren, Allen, Jesse, and Tyler Trew, Heather Adkins and Melissa Creel; and 3 great grandchildren. Mrs. Trew was a member of Lebanon Road Church of Christ, and active in Stones River Women's Club, Red Hat Honey's, The Special Olympics, Donelson Senior Center, Donelson Library Book Club, and assisted as a "Flying Ace" at the Nashville Airport. Visitation will be Saturday, 1-6PM, and Sunday, Noon-2PM. The Funeral Service will be Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 2PM, with interment to follow at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
