Mrs. Kathy Bogle's Obituary
Kathy Bogle, age 68, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on October 17, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Gertrude Ellis. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Raymond “Duke” Bogle; one daughter, Jennifer Stone (Jeff); two sons, Keith Bogle (Deeann), Andy Bogle; two sisters, Dean Croft, Ann Al-Chokhachi (Akil); one brother, Clarence B. Ellis (Hope); four grandchildren, Anna Leigh Bogle, Brady Bogle, Kate Stone, Alex Stone; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and a host of extended family members and friends. Our mother loved to read, sew, collect Hallmark, cook and teach. She was a Mothers Day Out teacher for 42 years and loved all the children in her care as if they were her own. She was also very devoted to her family, everything she did was centered around them and the home. Our mother never met a stranger and was kind to all those around her. She was a devout Christian and was a member of City Road Methodist Church. Visitation for Kathy will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 2 PM until 8 PM and again on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 11 AM until 1 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville landmark since 1785 “Where Nashville Comes to Remember”
